Apologies for not updating the onsen info recently... Hopefully, I will be able to update some soon!

Almost every single day, I receive emails from all over the world. Thank you so much for your interest in onsen!! I am always happy to give advice on where to go and what to see!

Maybe because it is reaching the good season to enjoy onsen, I have been receiving the emails alot recently. I am grateful for that but, I may not be able to react promptly. Please give me several days!! Thank you and enjoy onsen!!

Hokkaido's Kanno Onsen Ryokan may close down

According to Mainichi Shimbun(Mainichi Daily News), Kanno Onsen Ryokan has been suspending its operations since last December. Reason includes owner's sickness. Currently, the family is struggling to find a way to restart/handover its operation.

I visited the ryokan last year but posted the information in March. Apologies for the confusion it may caused.

I gave a strong "5" to Kanno Onsen Ryokan. There's no place like Kanno Onsen which has that variety of superb onsen. As an onsen blogger having passion in spreading good onsen to the world, I truely hope that the owner recovers from sickness and that Kanno Onsen Ryokan will restart its operation in the near future.

If no one is doing the operation, I will! It is that good.

I sure need to make more time to do more onsen tirps!! (Unfortunately, I am not a full-time onsen traveler...just an onsen fan...)
